Disappointed

This rug is not the same quality as the first generation rugs were. The reason why I bought a couple more of these over some other brands was because I thought it was like the original rug which did not have the rubber backing on them, which breaks down over time, and with washing, it plugs up the washer. But these new ones have that funky rubber backing so Over time it will fall apart as well. The photos of the rug on the website did not show the back of the rug-if it did, I would never have bought it! I am disappointed.

Hi Judith - we understand that 'you can't please all of the people all of the time' and knew that adding the new, non-latex TPR backing to our mats would disappoint some of our customers. But this backing offers such improved no-slip benefit that we went ahead with the change on our large and XL doormats. The 'stay in place' grip provided by the new backing has been a big improvement. When washed in cool water and dryed on low heat (or line dryed), the TPR has stayed beautifully in tact in all of our testing. (Heat is the enemy of any of the backings on any product in the market, not just ours). Please note that it is also easy to remove the TPR backing from our mats - just pull it away from the chenille and cut it out. The mat will still function just as designed!

Bone Absorbent Doormat

My doormat arrived well packaged. There are alot of loose yarns on it. My only issue, and it is an issue, is that my doors will not open over it. The door pushes the mat out of the way, defeating the purpose of we paws hitting the mat before the floor. For the money I paid, it is not worth it. :(

Sturdy Attractive Doormat

We’ve been using this doormat for just over a week, and it has definitely cut down on the amount of stuff tracked into the house by my two dogs. It seems to be well made, and is very absorbent. So far, so good!
